Description: Treated with Hypermix®
Mode of application: daily application.
Resolution time: 25 days

Some animals have more than one laceration, especially in bite wounds.
Traumatic bite wounds can easily be infested with fly larvae (miosis).
All types of lesions, including infested ones, can be treated daily with HYPERMIX®
CLEAN with saline or mild soap and water (Marseille) and remove the necrosis.
The use of disinfectant is not recommended, as it is histolesive and retards the healing process.
To avoid self-inflicted trauma, animals that show doggedness on injuries are advised to be fitted with a protective collar.
At the discretion of the treating veterinarian, and depending on the severity and extent of wounds, administer systemic antibiotic therapy, according to practice.
APPLY HYPERMIX® in oily formulation during the acute phase: resolution of the inflammatory phase is achieved in 5±2 days.

White Boxer dog - localized injury to the head
Testimony of: Gianluca Dr. Brafa
Animal category: pets
Pathology category: localized head injury, right temporal region
Description: During treatment, physiological functions remained normal. On the second day, it showed disappearance of the frenetic-compulsive scratching behavior, and the lesion showed marked reduction of the perilesional inflammatory collar. The area affected by dysepithelialization and erosion of the superficial dermis layer showed proggressive resolution of the inflammatory phase in favor of the granulation phase, with progressive control of exudation, within 3 days and subsequent complete re-epithelialization of the surface within 25 days after the start of Hypermix® treatment. The reappearance of hair coverage was achieved from about the third to fourth week. Daily application was always smooth due to lack of any painful reaction and was discontinued upon complete re-epithelialization of the lesion. No local or general adverse reactions occurred. No recurrences.
Mode of application: daily application.
Resolution time: 5 weeks
